Chapter 3 – In Sanctuary

21 Sep

Prophetic, probation(ary)

Backyard pools drown children

Pull virtuosity

Down below

Comfort treads water

In fathomful minds

Suffocating under pillows

Passion gasps! Then sighs

A last procession follows

Cotton fields smother

Aphids in action

She smiles as you slide

Safe? Yielding?

Among sheets of white gold

Spun as snowflakes on windy wings

Lost in found(ness)

Roofings fulfill houses (un)abound in satisfaction

Semi-saturated

Sexuality-solidarity

Deception grins at your death

Sold are your silver desires

Your life is not yours

In sanity or

In sanctuary

You simply survive

Chapter 2 – Umo ja Aiti

6 Sep

Hidden surprises

Under pillows in fancy boxes

Gifts from the motherland

Kind words that heal

I know it was difficult for you to learn

My debt to you

Is far beyond material

Sina ja mina

Parents of more than the those you bore

A lost child in a foreign land

Adopted by generosity

I understand more than you know

My only wish is that you understand me

You have become my Finland family

I want you to see

Through all the bad times

I am happy

You’ve given me more than just a home

And a warm bed

You’ve given me a new life in a new place

And you put a smile back on my face

The strength to write and start anew

I couldn’t have done these things without you

So you see, what I really want to say

Is kiitos

A family like yours is precious and few

And I know that you would say in return

Yes, thank you

Chapter 1 – Stealth and Strong

5 Jun

He holds me

Hovering

Above heaven

Hips in hands

As heat screams

Jealousy rides in the back seat

Lips smack, smiles crack

He is a lover purring like cats

Stealth and strong

But not invincible

Chapter 1 – We Smiled

25 May

Got ahead of myself

Wanted you near

Wrote those lines

Shed no tears

Time has drawn

Your face

Where I looked so long

At the mirror

And remembered

The smiles we smiled

In a different place
